UNITY DANCE CLASSES

2026-2027

 

Dance classes in Unity are held on Thursdays at Unity Elementary School with Cassie’s School of Dance/Thomas School of Dance.

 

You may register for Unity classes online at https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/thomasschoolofdance.  When registering online, please opt-in for email communication!  Unity dance families, if you pay by cash or check and are unable to make registration in person at our Bangor location, please email Cassie to let her know of your intention to register and payment can be made at the first class.

Tuesdays August 4, 11, 18 & 25 4:30-8:00 pm

August 4-7  9:30 am-2:30 pm

August 18-20 4:00-7:00 pm

August 25-27 4:00-7:00 pm

 

Dance classes in Unity start Thursday, September 17, 2027

 

Please note we reserve the right to make adjustments to the schedule, class length, staffing, etc. and to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. Class spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis; spots cannot be held without receipt of registration & payment.

Please note that classes in Unity have their own pricing and do not follow the same calendar info as our Bangor classes.

We are pleased to be able to offer convenient classes in Unity at a discounted rate.

1/2 an hour to 45 minute class- $55 per month
1 hour class-$62 per month
1.5 hours class -$93 per month

Three equal monthly tuition payments will be due in September, October & November.

December’s tuition will be adjusted based on how many class weeks are actually held over the fall.

 

 

Dress Code for Youth Classes

We sell Mary-Jane and Oxford style taps for youth as well as ballet shoes for youth and adults at our location in Bangor.  We also have a selection of youth through adult leotards and tights in a variety of colors and styles.

 

 

 

 

Preschool Combination

Girls should have a leotard and tights. Skirts, legwarmers and sweaters are optional. Girls will need pink ballet shoes to start and black Mary-Jane style tap shoes later in the fall. We recommend and sell a Mary-Jane style tap shoe with a quality tap and a quick velcro closure. Boys should wear plain t-shirts and shorts or dance tights/dance pants/leggings and black tap and black ballet shoes. Hair should be secured out of face; long hair should be pulled back. Small stud earrings only may be worn for jewelry.

 

Youth Combination Tap/Ballet Classes

Girls should have a leotard and tights. Skirts, legwarmers and sweaters are optional. Girls need black Mary-Jane style tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. Hip Hop

Comfortable clothing.  Jeans and street shoes are not allowed.  Non-marking indoor sneakers, dance sneakers or dance boots may be worn for class.  Dancers will need solid black non-marking indoor sneakers for performances (black soles, solid black uppers).

 

Intermediate Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical & Modern

Students should wear a solid color leotard and fitted or short solid color bottoms such as leggings or jazz shorts. All dancers should have flesh tone ballet slippers. Males should wear black dance tights and a t-shirt. Hair should be secured out of face; long hair should be pulled back. Small stud earrings only may be worn for jewelry.

Intermediate Hip Hop

Comfortable clothing.  Jeans and street shoes are not allowed.  Non-marking indoor sneakers, dance sneakers or dance boots may be worn for class.  Dancers will need solid black non-marking indoor sneakers for performances (black soles, solid black uppers).

Intermediate Tap

Comfortable clothing.  Jeans and street shoes are not allowed.  Dancers in intermediate tap should have black Oxford style tap shoes by the spring performance.

Adults  

Our dress code does not apply to our adult students.  Adults may dress in comfortable clothing.  No street shoes are allowed on our dance floors. Non-marking dances shoes/sneakers only.
